What’s Involved

Concrete Built to an Engineer’s Spec, Not a Guess

Commercial concrete work carries different demands than a residential driveway or patio — heavier loads, tighter schedules, and often a vapor barrier or reinforcement spec that’s called out by an engineer rather than left to our judgment. We pour loading dock slabs, warehouse and industrial floors, and other commercial site concrete built to the load and durability requirements the job actually calls for.

That typically means a thicker slab, a higher-strength mix design, and reinforcement sized for repeated equipment traffic — forklifts, delivery trucks, pallet jacks — rather than the occasional car or lawn chair a residential pour is built for. We also handle vapor barrier installation beneath slabs where moisture control matters, which is common on warehouse floors and any space with sensitive flooring or stored inventory above it.

We work directly with property managers, general contractors, and business owners, and we schedule pours to minimize disruption to an active business whenever possible — including bringing in pump truck access for loading docks and larger commercial pours where a standard chute pour isn’t practical.

Signs You Need Commercial Concrete Work

  • A loading dock or warehouse floor showing cracking or wear under equipment use
  • New construction or a tenant build-out that needs concrete site work
  • A commercial lot or pad that needs to be poured to a specific engineered spec
  • An existing slab that wasn’t built for the loads it’s now carrying
  • A property manager or GC looking for a contractor who can schedule around business hours
  • A site that needs a vapor barrier installed beneath a new slab
Common Questions

What Customers Ask Us About Commercial Concrete

How is commercial concrete different from residential?

Commercial slabs are often poured thicker, with a higher-strength mix and specific reinforcement to handle equipment loads like forklifts and delivery trucks, and they frequently require a vapor barrier beneath the slab to control moisture. The tolerances and inspection process are usually more involved than a driveway or patio, too.

Can you work with our site engineer’s specs?

Yes — we pour to the mix design, reinforcement, and thickness called out in your plans, and coordinate directly with your engineer or general contractor as needed throughout the job.

Do you use pump trucks for larger pours?

Yes, we bring in pump truck access for sites where a standard chute pour isn’t practical, which is common on loading docks, larger commercial slabs, and sites with limited truck access.

Can you schedule around our business hours?

We do our best to schedule pours and prep work to minimize disruption to an active business, including early mornings, weekends, or phased pours across sections of a site that needs to stay partially operational.

Do you handle permits and inspections for commercial jobs?

We coordinate with your GC or property manager on permitting and inspections, since commercial projects typically go through a different, more involved process than residential work.

What kind of commercial concrete work do you do?

Loading dock slabs, warehouse and industrial floor pours, vapor barrier installations, and other site concrete tied to commercial construction, renovation, or tenant build-out projects.

How do you handle a vapor barrier install?

We lay the vapor barrier beneath the slab before pouring, sealing seams and penetrations carefully, since a poorly installed barrier defeats the purpose and can lead to moisture problems under flooring or stored goods later.

How It Works

Our Process

  1. Site Walk & Scope Review

We meet with your property manager or GC and review any engineered specs you’ve already got.

  2. Plan & Schedule

We coordinate pour timing around your site’s operations to minimize disruption.

  3. Prep & Pour

We install vapor barrier and reinforcement as required, then pour, using pump truck access where needed.

  4. Cure & Sign-Off

We allow proper cure time and coordinate with any required inspections before handoff.
